Bright Stitches Dancing Across a Pale Berber Weave
Light, airy and quietly joyful, this ivory chevron floor couch carries the spirit of a Berber weaving. Bold zigzags run across a natural ivory ground in pink, mustard, cobalt and black. Between them, small diamonds, checkered crosses and wavy lines fill the open spaces. The slubby weave adds a soft, textural depth.
Asala Living pioneered this concept in 2022, transforming handmade Moroccan rugs into floor sofas. Artisans weave the flatweave base by hand, then stitch each chevron in raised thread. Up close, you can follow every stitch and its small irregularities. You can order it as a cover only or complete with filling to suit your comfort.
Its pale ground brightens a living room, guest space or covered terrace, as it suits indoor and outdoor living. Pair it with natural rugs and terracotta pottery for a calm, sunlit corner. Because this ivory chevron floor couch is Ready-to-Go, it ships right away. As a one-of-a-kind piece, it will not be repeated.
