Two Berber Weaving Techniques Meet in One Rug
Gentle, warm and quietly textured, this peach floor couch draws its character from a Berber weaving. A soft peach ground runs across the seat, traced with thin lilac and brown lines. Raised diamond lattices in pink, brown and grey-blue sit between the stripes. Meanwhile, shaggy bands of pink, mint and cream triangles add depth and movement.
Asala Living pioneered this concept in 2022, transforming handmade Moroccan rugs into floor sofas. This rug combines two techniques in one piece: a flat weave base and knotted pile bands. That contrast invites the hand to linger over every section. You can order it as a cover only or complete with filling to suit your comfort.
Its muted palette settles into a living room, bedroom or covered terrace, suiting indoor and outdoor living. Because this peach floor couch is Ready-to-Go, it ships right away. As a one-of-a-kind piece, it will not be repeated.
