Warm and compact, this pink Mellali floor sofa brings quiet character to smaller rooms. The base is a vintage rug in faded peach and blush. Across its surface, raised lattice motifs in brown, rose and pale blue trace an ancestral Berber language. A shaggy pile band adds texture, while soft fringe frames the edges.
Asala Living pioneered this concept in 2022, transforming handmade Moroccan rugs into floor sofas. We sourced this rug from rural Moroccan regions, and its aged fibers have softened with time. Flatweave sections sit beside raised pile, so each motif gains a gentle relief. Two matching vintage back pillows and a striped kilim lumbar in red, blush and charcoal complete the set.
