PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A Modern Pulse in an Ancestral Berber Vocabulary
Inspired by the Moroccan salon, this white majlis sofa invites friends to sit low and linger. Its kilim base rests in a calm, natural white. Over it, raised symbols in emerald, fuchsia, cobalt and saffron spread freely. Bursts of neon lime and orange then add a modern pulse to this ancestral vocabulary.
Asala Living pioneered this concept in 2022, transforming handmade Moroccan rugs into floor sofas. In our Marrakech workshop, artisans cut and tailor the flatweave into a fitted cover and three pillows. Because hands shape each sign, its lines vary in weight and rhythm. That irregular quality reflects Berber tradition rather than factory precision.
Ready to go, the set leaves our workshop without production delays. Use it in a living room, guest space or shaded patio, as it suits indoor and outdoor settings. You can order it as a cover only or complete with filling to suit your comfort. Either way, it brings colorful cultural expression to slow, unhurried days.
